Get started: Here’s how to hit a quicknode endpoint via SQL

1. if you don’t have one, get yourself a free quicknode API account at https://www.quicknode.com/core-api

1. don’t mess with the setup or security parameters, just copy your endpoint from the Endpoints > Get Started screen

1. go to https://science.flipsidecrypto.xyz/ephit to obtain an ephemeral query that will securely link your API link to our backend — this will allow you to refer to the URL securely in our application without referencing it directly

1. paste the provided query into the Flipside SQL app (https://flipside.new/ works great)

   

2. now you can query your node directly via velocity! yeehaw! here’s a link to a basic example you can fork
