What to avoid: One graph/table dashboard with no explanation

In this screenshot above, this dashboard only consists of 1 table (or graph) with no explanation. Dashboards like these would receive scores below the passing grade because there isn’t explanation on the methodology and results.

Providing more explanation on how you do it + elaboration on the results are key to your dashboard apart from the SQL.

Points to add to the dashboard:

• An introduction paragraph on your methodology - what did you looked for? How did you get to the insights?
• an explanation of what you observe from the results
• a conclusion summarising the points you made.
